‘Terroir’ is the essence of a good wine,
it is defined by climate, soil, and location
The terroir at Château de Cabidos is characterized as:
- Very sunny due to its exposure, with slopes facing south, south-west or south-east.
- The climate is maritime with some continental influence and the mild and sunny autumn allows the grapes to fully mature and ripen.
- The clay and limestone soils containing gravel, which provide an excellent natural drainage system.
